Video description

Billy's triumphant 1991 return to Toronto, on his first tour with a full band. He's playing to a packed house of very appreciative fans, and he is feeding off them, which makes for a great show. November 22nd, 1991 was 27 years to the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated (in 1963). He famously ranted that The Beatles killed JFK to make America NEED joy and happiness, and only The Beatles could bring that. I'm pretty sure it was George, too. It's always the quiet one." - Billy Bragg

He also made reference, in The Marching Song of the Covert Battalions to Wayne Gretzky who had just left Edmonton to play hockey in Los Angeles.
