The Volvo P1800 is a favourite classic car and Cyan Racing has taken it and built this gorgeous restomod. Henry Catchpole took it out for a spin to see if it drives as good as it looks.

Cyan Racing founded Polestar Performance in 2009, and sold the brand to Volvo in 2015.

This restomod is amazing, with a Holinger five-speed manual transmission with a dog-leg first gear, and a Wavetrac Torsen-type LSD. The car is powered by VEA 2-litre modular four-cylinder engine as found in every modern Volvo but tuned to make 414bhp and 336lb ft of torque.
