Video description
The Volvo P1800 is a favourite classic car and Cyan Racing has taken it and built this gorgeous restomod. Henry Catchpole took it out for a spin to see if it drives as good as it looks.Cyan Racing founded Polestar Performance in 2009, and sold the brand to Volvo in 2015.
This restomod is amazing, with a Holinger five-speed manual transmission with a dog-leg first gear, and a Wavetrac Torsen-type LSD. The car is powered by VEA 2-litre modular four-cylinder engine as found in every modern Volvo but tuned to make 414bhp and 336lb ft of torque.
