Video description
Step back in time as we explore the elegant 1965 Volvo 1800 S, famously known as 'The Sinner.' This car is a beautiful black color, with red interior. The video starts with a review of the updates the owner made, and the history of Volvo sports cars and the connection to The Saint movie and TV show. These Volvos were styled by Pelle Petterson (under the tutelage of Pietro Frua) when Frua's studio was a subsidiary of the Italian Carrozzeria Ghia automotive design and coachbuilding.
This car was modified enough to be disqualified from Volvo Club of America's competitions - it has been lowered, with wider tires (the originals were only 5" wide) and fender flares. The chrome bumpers were also removed. The interior was replaced with red leather, and the dash was redone in red as well.
