Roy Thompson Hall

The corner of King Street West and Simcoe has a long history in Toronto, and the Roy Thompson Hall at 60 Simcoe streets does an excellent job adding to that history.

Designed by Canadian architects Arthur Erickson and Mathers and Haldenby it was built to replace Massey Hall and was originally called 'New Massey Hall'.

Long before the concert hall, the south west corner was the location of the Third Government House in Toronto from 1868 to 1912
