Discover what a 1954 Land Rover Series 1 is like to live with on farm and around our local roads, plus find out what secrets hide under that iconic exterior. Manufactured by The Rover Co. Ltd, in Birmingham, England, this is car number 47101898.

A later example of the Series 1, the headlights are now out in front of the grill and the wheelbase was increased to 86" (from 80" in the originals). The car has a 2 litre gasoline engine, with the spare tire mounted on the hood. The windows and half of the door lifts off, and the petrol tank is hidden under the driver's seat!
