The distinctive little two door truck Jimmy drives is a open-body 'roadster' version of the Ford Bronco. This version didn't sell well, and was only produced from 1966 then withdrawn after the 1968 model year.

The actor Jason Segel has been seen driving a similar Ford Bronco in real life.
