Campbell House

The oldest house in Toronto from the original Town of York. Built in 1822 on Adelaide Street East, it was moved to Queen and University in the 1970s.

The house was built for Chief Justice William Campbell and his wife Hannah in the late Georgian Palladian style with a focus on symmetry of windows, fireplaces, doors etc.

As the neighbourhood changed the house survived as a commercial building, for:
