De La Salle locations

The school has had numerous locations before its current location, including:
  • 1863 on Jarvis Street, originally called the Christian Brothers Commercial Academy.
  • 1871 constructed a new building on Duke Street (258 Adelaide St. East today), and the name was changed to De La Salle Institute
  • 1874 purchased the former post office next door then expanded to include the Bank of Upper Canada building as well
  • 1913 took over part of the 67 Bond Street building adjacent to St. Michael's Cathedral
  • In 1931 the school moved one last time, to its current location

The current campus has approximately 680 students and teaches boys and girls in grades 5 through 12.
