Originally built by Archibald Dingman in 1893 as an office building, it was first known as Dingman's Hall and often served as a meeting place, with rooms rented out to visiting Shriners, Masons, etc... It was then known as the Broadview Hotel, and as the Lincoln Hotel for a time around 1933. It is now a boarding house, known as the New Broadview Hotel.
