Map of the Midland and Nottawasaga Bay (Midland )At the south end of Georgian Bay is Nottawasaga Bay, and a popular tourist area in both the summer and the winter. On the west coast of the bay is the Niagara Escarpment and the ski hills of Collingwood (Blue Mountain being the most famous). Stretching north east of there are miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches, including Wasaga Beach. At the north east end of the bay is Midland and Penetanguishine where the 30,000 islands start.
